The Palms is an upscale residential neighborhood located approximately 2 miles north of S.R. 436 on Wekiva Springs Road in northwest Orange County.  The subdivision has over 150 single family homes ranging from 2,100 to over 3,000 square feet.

The area public schools are Rock Springs Ridge, A-rated Apopka Middle School and Apopka High School which will be completely rebuilt by the 2008-2009 school year.  A cooperative program with the City of Apopka and YMCA will complete a recreation center/olympic size swimming pool by 2009.

The Palms front entrance is extensive with three fountains, two ponds and a waterfall.  Residents are encouraged to take a stroll or picnic in the beautiful surroundings.
